The staff at Auberge De Jeunesse Hi Marseille Bois-Luzy were incredibly friendly and helpful. They made my stay enjoyable and went above and beyond to assist me. The use of the kitchen was also a great bonus, allowing me to prepare my own meals.
There was only one toilet and one shower on the second floor, which was shared among several dormitories. This caused issues with overcrowding, especially when a large group of children and their carers were also staying at the hostel.

Great location with beautiful views and easy access to public transportation. The helpful staff made it easy to navigate the area and provided useful information. Basic breakfast and well-equipped kitchen made it simple to prepare meals.
No air conditioning or fans in the rooms made it tough to get a good night's rest during the hot summer nights. Limited bathroom cleaning took away from the overall cleanliness of the hostel.

The hostel can be difficult to access without a car, as it is further from the city center and public transportation can be limited. during off-season travel, there may not be many other guests staying, which could make for a very quiet environment.

I recently stayed at Auberge De Jeunesse in Marseille for a few days. The beautiful surroundings and lovely garden with aromatic herbs made for a truly relaxing stay. The kitchen facilities were clean and almost professional, although a greater variety of utensils would have been nice. The staff was exceptional, helping me plan my hiking route in the Calanques and allowing me to store my luggage after check-out. a clean and comfortable place to stay.
